i am saying you are the fast when you are also the small one doing
lyrics
Oh-oh-oh I don’t even understand,
Just where I’m supposed to be in this problem,
You’re so sure you left your keys back in that scene,
It shouldn’t even phase you now,
She can’t stand this new hideout,
I gotta say you look so alive,
It’s unlike you.
“We gotta run,” you whisper lightly in my ear
“Don’t look back.” You look so sure,
You take my hand and fled the room,
Lead me left and up the stairs,
Out the door and toward the beach,
You drop a tab and then again,
You smile back at me with a laugh,
Then stand in silence,
“What’s going on?”
(instrumental)
“Help me, please help me I can’t seem to find my way home”.
She’s calling out to the thousands of empty smiles.
I see her, she’s clawing lines into her blackened eyes.
I take her by hand and we walk north back t’ward and out of the darkness,
The crushing waves on wet stones send spirals straight through her.
Act 1, Scene 2; We’re walking along promenade with knives as neck braces,
and it’s oh so classical, we take a turn for the worst and sat in the darkness is a figure,
he grabs her by the neck and cuts her throat.
(wait for me by the waters edge
and take me by the hand)
Oh-oh-oh, I don’t even know-oh-oh,
I don’t even understand,
I don’t even know-oh-oh,
I don’t even understand,
I don’t even know oh-oh
I don’t even understand,
I don’t even know oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh I don’t even understand,
what went wrong or could have been,
A bloodied blade right down her spine,
and brought back through her chest so swift,
Another man came from the dark,
Himself did, too, have a clear plan,
He had me in his grip like that,
And cut me deeply.
The curtains have closed and the killers will meet here again.
It's like they take all the most beautiful parts of chaos and condense them in to five minute tracks. An overnight favourite local band we're keen to keep more than an eye on. edityourhometown

Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
